Why join Derbyshire Amphibian and Reptile group?

Derbyshire Amphibian and Reptile Group is a voluntary organisation, so it is only the time and enthusiasm of our members that allows us to continue and expand the important work we do. We are always in need of more volunteers and there are many ways you can make a real difference to Derbyshire's amphibians and reptiles.

If the thought of getting outside and conserving our native creatures isn't enough, members receive copies of our newsletter with up to date news about group activities. All members are invited to attend field and indoor meetings and free training sessions and to participate in practical conservation working parties.

Copies of our more recent and current newsletters are available by request from the secretary.

Who can join?

Membership is open to anyone who is interested in taking part in the activities of the group. There may be some restrictions for under 16s for safety reasons, especially on our toad patrols.

How much does it cost?

Membership is free for 2017.

What do I need to do?

Please provide some basic details about yourself and your interests. You can do this by emailing for a copy of our membership leaflet..
